The ADMIRAL Motor Controller Upgrade Kit is designed for Club Car IQ golf carts from 2004 onward. It combines a 12.3 hp ADMIRAL motor with a 500-amp Alltrax controller and supporting solenoid components for aggressive terrain or larger loads.
The kit includes a 48V, 400-amp heavy-duty solenoid, a 3-amp solenoid diode, and a 48V precharge resistor. The source describes up to 18 MPH, a 70% torque increase, and a slight loss of top-end speed.
