The D&D Motor Systems 170-003-0002 is a Series electric golf cart motor for Club Car Series carts from 1992 and later. It mounts to the stock 10-tooth differential spline and is designed for use with 36V or 48V DC systems.
This motor is intended to increase speed with stock tires while providing 10% less torque. The 6.7-inch-diameter motor has increased copper and steel content for higher thermal capabilities.
